Mission ‘Wrap’ Possible

As a member of the Mumsnet bloggers network I was recently challenged to ‘liven up our lunch’ with Mission wraps.  This was an ideal challenge for us – Little Mr A loves wraps and would eat them for breakfast, dinner and tea everyday if he could!  Also, I always struggle to come up with something different to make for lunch and soggy sandwiches are becoming a bit boring!

To complete our challenge we were sent two packets of Mission Wraps including the Mission Mediterranean Herb Deli Wraps together with Sacla Squeezy Pesto and Galbani Mozzarella who they have recently teamed up with.

We have tried the Mission wraps before but have never been very inventive, usually just using some meat and salad or chilli so it was great to be given some new things to try and to be given some ideas to get us started on the Mission website.

Inspired by the recipe ideas we went out and purchased some extra bits to go in the wraps, including pastrami, pepperoni, peppers and salad.

Here is what we came up with:

My favourite was a simple mozzarella, pesto, roasted red pepper and pastrami with a little bit of salad for that extra crunch:-

Big Mr A went for a ‘meat feast’ of mozzarella, pesto, ham, pepperoni and salad:-

Little Mr A wanted a bit of everything in his!  He had the mozzarella, pesto, salad, pastrami, ham and pepperoni! :-

IMAG0806We were also inspired by the idea of the quesedillas so made some with pesto, mozzarella, pastrami, roasted red pepper and a bit of extra grated cheese:-

IMAG0802I was really impressed with the wraps they are definitely better quality than supermarket own brands which we have tried previously.  I really liked the squeezy pesto as it was so easy to use and really tasty.  The mozzarella we were sent was also great, really good quality and very tasty.
